| so i'm interested in upgrading the valves/springs. Any suggestions? i figure if i have a weak spring i might as well take a step forward and upgrade. | |

| B or D series? Cheapest route for B and D is OEM like the type R springs For valves, supertech is the way to go | |

| it's a D , so you're saying the ctr or itr valve springs would be ok? and i'll check out supertech. | |

| well nvm. i just had an idea....take the valve springs out of the old y7 head and swap them to the y8 head. | |

| how hard is it to change out valve springs? and do i have to worry about the valves falling out through the bottom? never done this before but i want to do it on my own. then do a how to on it. thank you. | |

| Let a machine shop do it, its cheap, they have the proper tools, so that nothing gets damaged, the head has to be taken off. | |

Yeah, turning the crank so the pistons are at the top, so the valves don't fall in, done it once, it sucked, hardest thing is getting the springs compressed for the keepers. Valve springs should work, measure the thickness with a set of calipers to be sure, they should be the same | |
