| Well I picked up a new project from my brother today...It's a 94 jeep cherokee with a 4.0L inline 6 and has 4wd...Its definatly a project, it has quite a bit of rust that needs tending to. He bought it an auction from my dad's company about 4 years ago and just let it sit basically. The motor is still good, I just have to replace the alternator (already have a new one ) Took some pics earlier that I'll post when i get home from work! | |

| Alternator is going in tommarow...Front seats are coming out the passenger seat bracket is rusted out, thats why seat is knocked over, gonna jump in there with the grinder and make some stuff less rusty lol...I'll pressure wash it too...Might put some bigger tires on there for fun for a while but I'll probably sell it when I'm finished... | |

| So I started out today by unbolting the driver seat and backseat. I removed all the dirt and sand that was allover the floor. The passenger seat seat bracket was rusted away so it will need to be replaced. I went to put the new alternator on only to find all the mounting bolts gone! Guess I'll be making a parts run tommarow to get the bolt, a serpentine belt, and a few nuts I need. Also gonna take the grinder to the rust tommarow after i get the motor started up. | |

| LOL...Off-roading is new territory for me, I might not even take it that direction. I was just given the Jeep by my brother, he knew I want something to mess with and he doesn't know anything about cars and is in Tampa. So I really just want to restore it and make it some what respectable. | |

| I always seem to run into the same problems on every car i get my hands on...I went to advanced auto in panama city beach on a quest to get parts to replace the alternator...I went in search of the two long bolts that actually hold the alternator on the bracket, two nuts to attach the bracket to the motor, and a serpentine belt, all I left with was a serpentine belt they didnt have the bolts and I forgot to bring the one nut I had to match it up, Oh well there is always tomorrow... | |
