Question for the experienced engine builders...

On a scale of one to ten, what would you rate the difficulty of replacing a leaky head gasket on a four-cylinder engine? Should the task be avoided by the do-it-yourself-er?

i would say it is as easy or easier than a timing belt, provided you have the right tools.

in my book about a 3 or 4. but i do have a lot of head gasket exprience
