well i think there are ignorant ppl in every car group...from hondas to vws...personally i think that as long as you have a car and you are doing something with it...then that is a step in the right direction...i agree with what ur saying, only i think that is how alot of vw guys are...they think there better because there cars cost more money...ohh well, we cant change everyone...there are always going to be those kind of ppl...

Your allways gonna find those shitty group of dudes regardless of what type of car you own and what kind of crew you hang with. Thats why i like more open meets instead of just like Suby, Evo, or Honda groups. Also the best part about knowing shit is being able to put those guys in their place. Nothing's better than some douche trying to brag or talk highly about his car, than you slam him down with the actual facts. Priceless. Believe me, i do it all the time. Just keep up and stay ahead of the game. You get more respect that way anyhow. Especially as a go to kinda guy like myself for the neons

i agree with dan. There is always that one person or group that has to be a prick and a dick bout everything. U just gotta learn to ignore them an be like ok buddy w.e u say. Idk wut fun would it be if there wasnt a dick in every type of car group.....u got no one to talk bout when they take off haha jk. I can remeber bout 3 weeks ago at the meet right befor thanksgiving. There was a shit of integras an there was 1 person who stood out who had to make a comment bout every ones integra an he had no room to talk cuz his wasnt that great either. Disco should remeber who im talkin bout, but the point is there is always some one like that and u just gotta get use to it.

i work with a guy that has a pretty heavily modified sti. he does most of his own work.

hes about to install an APS turbo and their ginormous intercooler, has lots of other mods as well, just had a clutch installed by the dealership tho

Cody, welcome to my world of the Supras... The MAJORITY of MKIV owners are dicks... White collar trust fund babies... They look down on MKIIIs and MKIIs like we're worthless, poor people who drive pieces of shit... I dunno how many times I've read MKIV owners saying that MKIIIs arent supras... If you go to a BIG meet like the TX2K7 supra meet, there will be a 1000 pictures of MKIVs and maybe a handful of MKIII pics... It makes me SICK! The reverse to that, is if you get a normal guy who buys an MKIV, there is an expectation for that car to have 700+ rwhp and be all flashy and shit... I met a guy last night with a black MKIV, down to earth, cool guy... He loves the car, but doesnt have a bank roll of money to build the car up to what most MKIV owners expect the car to be... However, me with my little old ass MKIII, if I make more than 300rwhp, thats impressive... But reality is, when my car is done, I'll be raping some MKIVs... Sad thing is, even though I'll have more power, and a nicer looking car, I'll never get the respect from them, because my car is "inferior"... I dont really CARE what they think, but, that's the facts...

I have NEVER seen a car family so devided... You dont here new Vette owners dissing old vette owners and telling them that their car really isnt a corvette because its a different generation... Same with the honda crowd, old skool honda owners get the same respect as the new skool guys, if not more... I wish the supra family was more unified, but the reality is, it isnt and probably never will be...

So yeah, I feel your pain man...
