| Yes , some places also use Pecan shells , Walnut Shells , or some other natural media as well ... looking at doing this in the coming weeks ... I'll snap some pics of the media and the process ... gonna chronicle the entire build | |

| fixing and restoring old vw's is my hobby, right now im workin on a link pin beam thats narrowed 7.5 inches thats going under a friend of mines 1957 oval-window ragtop beetle. heres my 57 oval-window ragtop bug, sittin on porsche wheels and ghia disc brakes. | |

| haha stinger FTW between me and my bro we have 2 1957 oval window ragtops and a 1956 oval hardtop that oval is mine, his oval is flat tan and flat olive green slammed, narrowed and fully built 1914, eagle 110 cam, 1.6 ratio rockers, hardend pushrods, 044 heads, scat forged crank, ceramic coated merged header, stingerweber idf 44's..... hmm ill remember more when im sober. im waiting on his drop spindles and weber idf 44's to come in so i can put his car back together. my car is fresh paint, disc brakes, porsche 5 lug conversion, 3 inch drop spindles, O.G. Porsche "heart" wheels... the damn wheels are worth 2500 for the set. thankfully i didnt have to buy them. haha i got them from an old guy who didnt know what he had fresh interior, fresh rag, you could eat off my undercarrage. oh and a GREAT site for everything vw and porsche is www.thesamba.com/vwit will become your best friend | |

Yea i know corey pretty well, i also helped on the nasty ( doing the brakes and getting it to run) i worked on the marsh for a while, and kept it for about 6 months, and the beam off that yellow and primer bug is from the marsh. | |
