Race 850 Stickers

OK guys heres the deal with the stickers. Ive been getting lots of pm's with people asking for the race850 stickers. I had a test batch made last week to see how they would be recieved. Clifford and I both chipped in to have them made and obviously they didnt go near far enough so we need more. The problem is that they are just over a dollar a piece to have made and I cant keep fronting money for the stickers or the site advertisement. As much as id love to cause I really do appreciate all of you and all your support and involvement with the site I just cant afford to do it again. Im po.

So lets get to the point right...you think im gonna ask you for money but im not. What I want is your input on the matter and a solution. Wether it be small donations, car washes, or lemonade stands I dont care how we do it but we need more stickers. I will probably go today and have a few more made, out of pocket, but I cant do much more myself.

Any help is greatly apreciated so we can get the word out and bring our community together.

what about race 850 car shows? that'd be kinda cool.

We've always had the admins purchase them and then sell them for a couple dollars more than what they cost so after a few you won't have to "front" money. We usually don't mind paying a couple extra bucks in thanks for your troubles and being able to show support for something.

well im going in a few minuets to have them made and help get them ready. Its actually a real PITA (pain in the ass) to get them "car ready" but I dont mind the work end of the deal its just, like I said before, the money part is a drag. Ill just charge a buck a piece or so, whatever it costs me to get them is what it will cost you guys. I just hate taking members money even if its just a dollar or so. Ask anyone that knows me on this forum, or anywhere for that matter, I am a very giving and generous person and I love to help out my fellow racers and car freaks.

PS the shop that I get the stickers from really only charges me for the materials as long as I help out in the prep process and getting them "weeded out". The owner is an old buddy of mine so thats why I use his shop.

I'm sure there are a few people who can pitch in a couple of bucks to help out. I mean 5 bucks from 10 people goes a long way with those stickers.

So far I am expected to put a Streetfire sticker on my car, shift garage sticker, Fighters garage, d2m, and race850 now?

Ohhhh Birrrrdy no I dont expect anyone to put any stickers on their cars. I understand that some people arent sticker peeps and thats ok I understand Im not one either but I do love thist site and I have a vested interest in it so I will rock one but again I dont expect anyone else to just cause they are on the site it is totally up to the individual. Thats the nice part about not being a "club", its not required. Love ya

depending on the sticker size, the can add any where from 5-25 horsepower, so please, give me all the stickers you have.

If you make small ones, i'd rock it (In Red). But i have a 2 sticker limit on my car and i already hit it

well i just got done about an hour doing the labor on theese stickers... believe me there a bugger to get "car ready". Ill be handing them out to 850 members at the meet tonight. Thank you foreverflavaboy for going in halvsees with me on them and thanks for your time weeding them out. Now we just gotta see how it goes tonight to tell if we need more.

Let me just say that I can totaly understand the donation thing. In order to keep the cost down on them it requires a good amount of time. I figure about 5hr of "weeding" for 40 stickers. Believe me any donation is going to be gladly appreciated. Just remember that someone had to pay for them and give up their time.

my other forum the stickers depend on the size but start at 5 dollars so i would be willing to get one for 5 bucks or so

We dont charge for the stickers but we do take donations if you feel so inclined. The easyest way to get a sticker from me is to show up at the tues night meets ill have a couple tomorrow night. Since we are trying to get the .com up and running im not getting big batches made due to the fact that the sticker is gonna change soon. Some people are saying that thre just gonna peel off the forumotion part and move over the .com thats fine with us.
