| Yeah so once again another car another issue. We should have a place just to talk about parts breaking then again I bet most of you use better parts that don't break. Anyways I only paid $1,200 for the eclipse and it came with all the extra stuff not too bad. ( I do plan on changing the body kit out so its not so bad looking and getting paint job as soon as I can) I had to sell my 72 chevelle to get the eclipse because the tranny blew out in the chevelle from it just being so old. I bet until I got the Chevelle the tranny fluid had probly never been changed since like 72. So I get the eclipse and finally like I said I got it to stop making all the noises that it was making and life was good. No sounds no worries. Then I go out over the weekend drive around like always . Bought some new parts for the eclipse over the weekend. Then yesterday it starts making a noise again when I change gears. So I check the gear oil which wasn't too bad but I add some more. This noise though just keeps getting louder and louder the more I drive so I takethe eclipse home and park it check out as much on it as I can. Then I have my friend who works at a shop look at it today after school. Same friend who helped me put in the throw-out bearing and like he said when we were doing the throw-out bearing the clutch was pretty bad. I bought one today but I have no idea when its going to get here but I can't wait. It felt so good to have a car that was running right and everything. The point of this wasn't to bitch I get carried away when I write or talk but does anyone know anything about aimco clutches? Thats all I could afford and it was early birthday present at that. Stage Two Five Puck clutch comes with everything I need but a flywheel. Does anyone know anything about them? Are they good clutches? I hope so but then again I won't know until I use it. | |
