| AWD>RWD>FWD
You have a chance to not choose FWD as your platform. Choose wisely. |

that makes me sad. Don't know why you were told that. What was the reason? (I thought this thread was about Greddy blow off valves when I clicked it)

| uh apparently it has like one of the worst frontal end collision deal. so if you hit something head on you're fucked. and they're porely built and overall just slow.. | |

| i have had three vw's and have loved everyone of them...first car was a 67 bus...then i had an 04 golf gl(it had an 8v engine...a good gas mileage engine...but slow as poop...if you get a mk4 go for a vr6 or 1.8t)...i now own a 07 GTI...my favorite car yet...i have been very happy with vw's...only downside is that parts tend to be alittle more expensive...that is my two scents | |

| I think Garrett was just trying to say that he likes to smell everything. And pshhhh! Minis are bad ass. Get a Cooper S, put a pulley, some meth, and up the boost! |

| what are you looking for? something to daily drive that is fun, something that gets good gas mileage, or something that is easy to mod and relatively cheap to make go fast? | |

| Start by not just going off what one person says. Get on edmunds.com, carpoint.com, ect. and do some research for yourself.
Not caring if it is fwd, rwd, or awd means you really don't know what you want. Figure out what you want first, then start looking at cars.
Seems like you care a lot about being safe, cool. Not me, I've removed all the airbags and other safety shit out of my 240 including the bumper support (damn FMIC wouldn't fit otherwise). But that's because going fast is more important than having a bumper support. Just because a car does poorly in crash tests doesn't mean its a POS.

Dude, I bought a mag a while back with a side article on two guys who both had a Type S. It was sweet because the story was about how they met, and how they both peaked 600 HP in both their Type S'.
