I just wanna see what everyone's 1/8 mile times are out at Holt in a pickup. Don't matter if it's full size or a mini truck. My best was a 10.61 in the 1/8 mile in my Sierra. Only mod was a drop in K&N air filter. Let's here em!

Badness! Yeah I've been ripped a new one by 2 different Dakota R/Ts, LOL. Once in my Sierra and once in my Lancer I think. The guys who pair up the cars out at Holt are idiots. Who would pair up a Lancer with a Dakota R/T? Worse yet who would pair up a Trans Am WS6 with a Sierra?! Everybody else seems to get put with someone close to their E/T but that's never the case with me.

on test and tune we do not pair up cars or trucks, we send them out as they r lined up in the staging lanes,or with what ever they want to run

I am the one that pulls cars out at test n tune nights. I am not there to pick and choose races. If I do see something that might be interesting and they are close to one another I will pair them. Some people come to me and tell me they want to run a certain car. I do my best to hook the ones who ask up. If you are next to a car more chances then not you are going to run it.

yeah Larry is tha shit and hes a voulenteer at the track. You want an idiot to line you up let Larry and Lightning not show up one day and see what happens. At least your not getting lined up with bikes or slick cars. Look at my car lining up with both Vipers and toyata tercels its just the luck of the draw 90% of the time the other 10% I ask to be lined up with a perticular vehicle. Try to remember Kong that its not the other cars your racing but your own personal best.

i went 10.3 but i think my clutch is slipping but hopefully my times will drop once i get the long tubes and a new clutch

i actually modded it more after that, and was spraying a 150 shot but never went to the track again. i was tyring to sell it so i didnt want to risk braking it. i added the extra 50hp, leaned it out some with the pills (was 9.0:1 afr) about 400 rwhp, 540 rwtq through a stalled 46re (power hog), then added a 4.10 gear with auburn posi and full suspension stuff. i'm thinkin i coulda gone 7.7 or so if i had hooked :-( on the 150, and around 8.9 or so on motor

Dang man! I wanna ride in that, LOL! I got big plans for my truck if I don't ever sell it.... course with the fuel prices, my truck payment, and my AWESOME O'reilly paycheck, that may be happening sooner than later after I get my income tax and knock down my loan a bit.

it was pretty sweet, and very unique for the area. i regret getting rid of it. that was over 3 years ago... it would be quit fucking fast now, and i would own it lol.

Yeah, I wanted one of those pretty bad when I was a Mopar nut but quickly outgrew them when the SRT-4 came out and started shining.

Ehh I was a Mopar nut up until I got rid of my last one(72 Dodge Charger). It was a project car that never went anywhere. I never even cranked it once. It just needed too much work and I wanted delv off into the tuner scene again.
