couldnt you just get a type-r motor, and build your own chassy around it and it be the same? sounds to me like they just ripped off the body and used the wheels,motor,shocks, etc...

it says it has a 2.0 ecotec motor. same motor thats in the supercharged cobalt ss. it not a supercharged CTR

I'm with birdy on this is one. Kick ass car but I'm sure its cost to have them build it and buy the parts and stuff. I wish I had that kind of money and somewhere safe to drive it.

Yes , this Car is an awesome platform , and these guys obviously know what they're doing ... you could maybe build something similar , but if you equate man hours (Labor) , especially in your R&D , the costs would most likely be greater than what they're asking , as they've done all the R&D for the consumer at that point ... NOT including the time it would take in Fabrication of parts , and assembly
