| Im going to preface this thread with a disclaimer. Alot of people flame on the use of N02. If you are going to flame on it please do not post. This thread is about the love of and use Nitrous. I cant believe there are no nitrous lover on here post it up yet. I guess I'll start it off. Im Disco and I am a sprayaholic. There I said it, I have a problem and am willing to face it. There is no treatment for my illness other than more and more and more spray. (btw that reminds me that i need a direct port kit) I have a fully built Integra that just loves the spray and runs like a raped ape thanks to the spray. Heres a pic if you havnt seen the car.

| I feel I need to come out and say it as well. I love the spray too. I am actually going with a 90mm plate kit jetted for a 100 shot. Once I get the car to finally hook, I am going to get some more go-baby-go. For LS1 cars, they have in-expensive high quality kits out there that are just begging to be installed. http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/shop/home.phpI love the stuff sold by HSW. | |

| nitrous is the best bang for the buck. damn a fogger and a plate on a small block, bout 150 to 200 on the fogger and another 50 on the plate (just in case they pull on you on the big end) that will do it. but i won't lie i would rather a 1271 with twin 4s boltted on top a small block (just a little easier to tune thats all) i love it all. | |

It is one of the several nitrogen oxides. This reddish-brown gas has a characteristic sharp, biting odor. NO2 is one of the most prominent air pollutants and a poison by inhalation. // [edit] Safety and pollution considerationsNitrogen dioxide is toxic by inhalation. Symptoms of poisoning ( lung edema) tend to appear several hours after one has inhaled a low but potentially fatal dose. Also, low concentrations (4 ppm) will anesthetize the nose, thus creating a potential for overexposure. Long-term exposure to NO 2 at concentrations above 40–100 µg/m³ causes adverse health effects [1]. The most important source of NO 2 is internal combustion engines, which emit nitrogen oxides near people. A major industrial source is pulp mills. The map shown below, depicting results of satellite measurements over Europe, illustrates nitrogen dioxide as large scale pollutant, with rural background ground level concentrations in some areas around 30 µg/m³, not far below unhealthful levels. Nitrogen dioxide plays a role in atmospheric chemistry, including the formation of tropospheric ozone. A recent study by researchers at the University of California, San Diego, suggests a link between NO 2 levels and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome [2]. | |
