| Nah...thanks, but it will be fixed by then. It will be fixed tomorrow... I can't stand not having my car...I will have it tomorrow...I think the dude who's house I parked it in front of is a mechanic of some sort...I'm sure he has the tools I would need. If I have any luck at all...it will just crank up in the morning. | |

| Ok...so i'm not getting a spark. I think the seafoam thing was just a coincidence. I'm pretty sure the coil went out in the distributor. I'm going to see if I can get one to test with before I buy one...Wish me luck...hopefully that's all it is. Thanks guys. | |

| You are supposed to change your oil, filter, and plugs after using seafoam. | |

| If you think about the way seafoam works it makes sense that your plugs and oil would be compromised. It cleans all your intake runners and all the sludge makes its way into your combustion chambers. Hmmmmm whats in the combustion chambers????????? Ahhh ha SPARK PLUGS that even a bad batch of gas can ruin sooooooooooo im thinkin id try $10 worth of plugs before anything else. In our high performance application plugs are critical so itd be worth a shot. | |

| Well...I do agree that if they're OLD spark plugs, it would be a good idea to Change them, but I don't see any reason why puting seafoam in would INSTANTLY cause you to not have a spark. Besides, I checked the wires and wasn't getting a spark through them at all...I would recommend an oil change after seafoam though...because it can thin out the oil...making it not work as well... ANYWAY...so good news. I took the distributor apart and replaced the coil and i still didn't get a spark. How is this good news you ask...WELL...when I put my old coil back in I noticed that the Rotor in the distributor was a little crusty and like it could POSSIBLY not allow a spark (i say possibly because I had never heard of this actually happening). So I scrapped some of it off with my nail and put it back together...WALLLAA...cranked right up. So it's good news because I don't have to buy a 65 dollar coil or spend 150 bucks for a diagnosis because it would have taken forever to figure out that...i just got curious and lucked out. So there's a new one to put in the books for if your car doesn't have a spark and everything else seems fine...check the ROTOR. Anyway... I took it all apart again and sanded down the rotor end so I knew it was completely clean and would have full spark. Runs great now...havn't maxed it out (need to change the oil), but i'm sure that's why it died too because it couldn't get a spark fast enough on the coroded rotor. YAY ME and Thank God ...good day. I'm HAPPY I have my car back...now that the weekend is alreadly almost over and it died Friday night...HAHA. But I'm happy... Thanks for the input guys... | |
